Yoga reduces inflammation levels

Anyone who is interested in yoga and what health benefits it gives you when you practice it regularly should read the added link. It is all about a study that has been done by the Ohio State University and was just reported in the journal Psychosomatic Medicine. It explains a link between practicing yoga and having less of cytokine interleukin in the blood that causes inflammation. Cytokine levels if high have been related to heart diseases, type 2 diabetes, arthritis and other age related diseases. This could mean since practicing yoga reduces cytokine levels in the blood that you could be provided with substantialĀ  short- and long-term health benefits, even though your stress levels in life could be high.

  1. Good day I loved your post. I feel that it’s crucial when discussing diabetes to at least mention natural treatments that have been shown to be effective in controlling high blood sugar. Several natural herbs can be including in a diabetics regimen that will help maintain a wholesome glucose level.
