A little about me and how I came to be doing what I do ….

Since my early childhood I always was very keen on being active. Joining the gymnastic group in primary school years introduced me to competitive sports. By the time I was sixteen I got my first certificate to be an assistant to a gymnastic instructor. When I was eighteen I became fully qualified to teach children’s gymnastic and instructing aerobics classes for women. I worked for my local sports club for about 5 years on a part-time basis. One of my A-level subjects was Sports.

In 2003 I decided to train with Future Fit Limited to become a Personal Trainer. Through this training I was fully qualified in 2005 as a REPs Level 3 Personal Trainer. In 2018, through training with Active IQ I progressed to become qualified as an Exercise Referral Specialist, to be able to work with referral patients from GPs and physiotherapist. And only recently, in February 2021 after training with Amac Training/ Active IQ for over one year, I became a qualified Level 4 Lower Back Specialist. I am very proud of having achieved the highest awarded qualification that one can get as a Fitness Trainer in the UK Fitness Industry, which is now governed by CIMSPA (The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity).

For 17 years now, as a Freelance Personal Trainer, having gathered a wealth of experience and knowledge in the fitness industry, I’ve really enjoyed spending quality time with people either in their homes or outdoors, to help them becoming physically healthier and mentally more balanced too. During the last 12 months and the challenges throughout lockdown in 2020/21 I successfully worked with all of my clients via video calls on Skype, Whatsapp and Zoom, and helped them to continue to stay physically healthy. I personally train at home and outdoors, and have taking part in various UK Triathlons events for the last 8 years to keep myself healthy and happy.
